We are looking for a Warehouse & Production Support Assistant Supervisor who understands that the shop is the heartbeat of the operation. This role is critical to supporting our Project Managers, Foremen, Installers, and Service Technicians by ensuring materials, equipment, and fleet resources are organized, maintained, and delivered on time.

🏗 What You’ll Be Overseeing
Working alongside the Production Support Manager, you will assist in managing:
- Purchasing, shipping, and receiving of plumbing and HVAC equipment, tools, and materials
- Inventory control for fittings, pipe, ductwork, fixtures, equipment, and consumables
- Staging materials for service and installation crews
- Fleet vehicle purchasing, maintenance scheduling, and safe operation
- Shop, yard, and warehouse maintenance
- Retail and counter sales for walk-in contractor customers
You will help ensure technicians and installers arrive at job sites prepared — with the right materials, at the right time.
🚚 Leadership Responsibilities
You will have the authority to:
- Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and freight costs with vendors
- Make decisions on damaged, surplus, or outdated inventory
- Communicate directly with Project Managers when materials are delayed
- Evaluate, coach, and support warehouse and yard staff
- Recommend staffing adjustments and training improvements
- Assist in developing and managing the department budget
- Resolve internal coordination issues between field crews and warehouse staff

🔎 What We’re Looking For
- Experience in plumbing, HVAC, construction supply, or warehouse operations
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to read and understand technical parts documentation and equipment specs
- Attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Clear communication skills with field crews and management
- Leadership ability to coach and mentor staff
- Adaptability in a fast-paced repair and installation environment
- Basic computer and inventory software proficiency
Trade knowledge is a strong plus — understanding fittings, duct, boilers, furnaces, parts, and jobsite logistics will set you apart.
