Sales, Service & Install Department Operations Manager
KLEBS Mechanical, Inc. is seeking an experienced individual to fill these big shoes. We are looking for someone who has residential and light commercial HVAC and plumbing experience who can provide operational oversight for the department. The preferred candidate will have 2-5 years experience in a supervisory position with multiple years of “in the field” experience. Our company handles everything from residential plumbing repairs to commercial RTU maintenance.
Summary of Duties:
This individual is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and work performed by the service technicians and install team. The SSID Operations Manager will also identify sales leads and communicate them to the appropriate team member, figure costs for service repairs and following up to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with services provided.
Specific Duties – include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure technicians are assigned to jobs that use their experience and skills effectively.
- Monitor services provided by technicians for quality, profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Assist technicians with parts research.
- Provide technical expertise and pricing assistance for proposals on major repairs and retrofits.
- Meet with customers who have service issues and negotiate price and service solutions.
- Provide feedback to technicians on performance in the field.
- Ensure technicians are following department policies.
Qualifications:
- AA Degree in Business Management, HVAC or Plumbing Technical Training Certificate or equivalent education and experience demonstrating the ability to successfully accomplish the role
- Two to Five years of supervisory experience for a HVAC or Mechanical contracting company (Preferred)
- Two years of Service Supervisory or Management experience within a service company
- Four years experience in the field as an HVAC Technician and completion of certified apprentice or technician educational program (Strongly Preferred)
- Journeyman’s License in Sheet Metal or Plumbing (Preferred)
- Universal Refrigerant Card (Preferred)
